Miles & Moss Start here

Field guide · Independent · Reader-first

Take the long way, prepared.

Honest, useful guidance for the clothing and gear that helps a good day outdoors stay a good day. Every guide begins with the day you want to have — not a product grid.

Common questions

Before you set off.

Is Miles & Moss a store?

No. We publish guidance, not product grids. Where a retailer link helps you compare options, we mark it — and no retailer currently pays us a commission.

How are the guides put together?

Every guide separates sourced facts from editorial judgment, cites the sources it relies on, and shows the date it was last reviewed. Automation assists the drafting; the standards stay human-set.

Are the retailer links recommendations?

They are starting points for comparing current options. We do not claim testing, price, or stock information we cannot verify.

How often do guides change?

Guides are re-reviewed on a weekly cycle. When a material fact changes, we correct the page and revise the review date rather than letting it drift.

The Thursday dispatch

Useful on Thursday. Not just in your inbox.

One considered idea for getting outside, delivered when we have something worth sharing. No noise between dispatches.
